Learn more about the ‘hackathon for cycling’ concept

Launched in 2014 in Glasgow, Scotland, CycleHack is a global movement with the mission to make the world more sustainable through reducing the barriers to cycling by taking a grassroots approach to innovation. Citizens are tooled up to take a proactive, DIY approach to making cycling easier, more fun and more accessible.

CycleHack will take place at the same time in over 35 countries across the globe. It will be organized in Luxembourg City for the first time this year. Held at Rotondes from June 24-26, 2016, the event will see participants work in teams to create ‘hacks’ that solve barriers to cycling. At the end of the weekend, all participants upload their ideas to the global Open Source catalogue.
